As of 18th of July, Russian authorities have changed online visa applications adding several new questions. The changes affect British passport holders applying for any type of visa to Russia. The online form can now be up to 8 pages long. New information required include: your income, social network accounts, previous passports, children, parents and more. Myanmar Fees Increase

Myanmar Visa Fees Increase

As of Monday 12 December Myanmar’s visa fees are rising substantially, with a 1 year business multi entry visa more than doubling from £200 to £525. A 6 month business multi entry will increase equally significantly, from £100 to £350. There’s better news, however, for travellers on single entry visas – although these are rising by similar percentages they will still only end up as a relatively modest £35 (tourist), and £45 (business).

Belarus announces Five-Day Visa-Free Regime For Citizens Of 80 Countries

5 Day Visa Free Regime for Citizens of 80 Countries

Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 8 «On the introduction of the visa-free entry and departure for foreign citizens». The document introduces the visa-free entry through the border checkpoint at the Minsk National Airport and the visa-free stay in Belarus for up to 5 days for the citizens of 80 countries, including the UK, starting from 12 February 2017. Visitors have to leave Belarus also via the Minsk National Airport.
New regulations also apply to the non-citizens of Latvia and stateless persons of Estonia.
REQUIREMENTS: а valid passport or other document permitting foreign travels, money (around 20 British Pounds for each day as for 09.01.2017), medical insurance in the amount of at least €10,000 operational in Belarus will be needed for the visa-free entry.
The citizens of Vietnam, Haiti, Gambia, Honduras, India, China, Lebanon, Namibia, Samoa should also have a valid multi-visa to the EU states or the Schengen Area with a mark confirming the entry to their territory, plane tickets with a confirmation of the departure from the Minsk National Airport within 5 days after the date of the entry.
The visa-free regime does not apply to people arriving to Belarus by plane from Russia and planning to go to the airports of Russia (these are internal flights with no border control).

Nigeria  – The Embassy is closed for submission on 23rd December.

Belarus –  The Embassy is closed every Wednesday.

Uzbekistan The Embassy is closed every Tuesday and Thursday.

Saudi Visa Updates

Saudi Consular fees have increased over 500% per cent since October 2016. Additional requirements: UK Letter of Introduction to be attested with the Chamber of Commerce; Medical Insurance must be purchased online on the day of application, this is regardless of whether the applicant has private/company cover already. New Vietnam Processing Times

Please note new visa processing times for Vietnam visas. For business visas, the express service takes now 3 working days to process passport, whilst the standard processing time is 1 week. Tourist visas are, however, unaffected and can still be obtained on a next day express service, while the standard processing time for tourist visas remains at 3 working days.
